Cyberpunk 2077 is set to feature in a new Fortnite collaboration, marking its third appearance in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is returning this year through a new crossover with Fortnite. This marks the third collaboration between the popular open-world RPG and Epic Games' battle royale title, suggesting the previous integrations have been well-received. The new content is expected to launch as part of Fortnite's Override Chapter 7 Season 4, offering players fresh ways to engage with the futuristic universe.
While official details remain scarce, unofficial leaks indicate the new season will begin on August 20, 2026, and conclude on November 5, 2026. During this period, players can anticipate a Male V skin, one of Cyberpunk 2077's protagonists, alongside new in-game items. These are rumored to include the HJSH-18 Masamune AR, the TKI-20 Shingen + Dual SMGs, and potentially a Porsche 911 Turbo car.
The continued integration of Cyberpunk 2077 into Fortnite highlights the game's enduring popularity and commercial success. It stands as one of the best-selling games of all time, with only The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim having sold more in the RPG genre. Both of those titles, however, are older and have been released on more platforms with more frequent discounts.
Despite the excitement for new content, those hoping for a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration will likely be disappointed, as leaks suggest this will not occur. An Edgerunners crossover recently appeared in Apex Legends, making a simultaneous or close-proximity appearance in Fortnite improbable. Both Epic Games and CD Projekt Red have yet to comment on these unofficial reports, maintaining silence on the speculation.
