Privacy Policy
We run no analytics, no ad trackers and no third-party profiling. The only reader information we hold is an email address, and only if you gave us one.

What we collect
Your email address, if you subscribe. When you sign up to the newsletter we store the address you enter and a note of which page you signed up from, so we can send the newsletter and understand which parts of the site bring people to it.
Ordinary server logs. Our host records the usual technical details of a request — IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp — for security and diagnostics. We do not combine these into reader profiles.
Staff sign-in cookies. Editors signing in to the newsroom get a session cookie. Readers never receive one.
What we do not collect
We do not run any analytics or measurement package. We do not use advertising or re-targeting cookies. We do not sell, rent or share reader data with data brokers, and there is no cross-site tracking on this site.
Our typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, so simply reading the site does not report your visit to a third party.
Who processes data for us
Vercel hosts the site and handles the request logs described above. Supabase stores our articles and the newsletter list. Resend delivers the newsletter email. Each of these acts on our instructions and for no other purpose.
Some articles embed a YouTube trailer. Those embeds use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set advertising cookies unless you press play.
How long we keep it
Your subscription is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept only as long as our host retains them for operational purposes.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter. You can also write to us and ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely — we will do so, and confirm when it is done.
Children
Comics Today is a general-audience publication and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has subscribed, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes and contact
