Ignition Press confirmed six new creators, including Ben Templesmith and Dan Watters, will join for upcoming projects. This significant announcement arrived on July 9, 2026, just before the start of San Diego Comic-Con.
Ben Templesmith, known for co-creating "30 Days of Night," "Fell," and "Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse," is a prominent artist and writer among the new signings. His distinctive art style has defined several horror and dark fantasy series for various publishers.
Dan Watters also joins the publisher. He has written for "M.A.S.K." and "Batman: Dark Patterns," showcasing his versatility. Watters is also co-writing the just-announced "Judge Dredd/Biker Mice from Mars" crossover event, adding to his busy schedule.
Artist Christopher Mitten, whose extensive work spans DC Comics, Marvel Comics, and Dark Horse, is another notable addition to the roster. Brian Level, a cartoonist and tattoo artist, also signed; he previously won a GLAAD Media Award for his contributions to DC’s "Poison Ivy" series.
X-Men writer Seth Peck is now part of the Ignition Press team, bringing his experience with major franchises. Stephen Green, recognized for his contributions to the "Three Worlds/Three Moons Universe" published by Dark Horse, completes this impressive new group of creators.
