Industry whispers indicate Amazon MGM Studios has reportedly found its next James Bond, concluding a lengthy casting process.
After an extensive global search, industry insiders are now suggesting that Amazon MGM Studios has reportedly identified the actor poised to inherit the iconic role of James Bond. This development follows years of intense speculation and a rigorous casting process to find the successor to Daniel Craig, who concluded his tenure as 007 in 2021.
The latest wave of reports stems from well-known industry figures like Daniel Richtman and Jeff Sneider. Richtman initially hinted at the final stages of casting, stating, "I hear they’re in the final round of casting for James Bond and might have already found their guy." Sneider corroborated this, adding that the selection process had narrowed from seven candidates to three, before potentially settling on one.
While names like Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack Lowden, and Jacob Elordi have frequently surfaced as frontrunners, Sneider's remarks suggest the chosen actor might be an unexpected pick, noting, "I don’t think it’s any of the so-called frontrunners, including the Aussie." Previous fan favorites, including Idris Elba and Aaron Pierre, have also been part of the long-running conversation surrounding the role.
