Netflix will release a two-part LEGO One Piece special on September 29, retelling the live-action series through Usopp's eyes.

One Piece is getting a LEGO makeover, and Netflix has released a first-look trailer for the animated special ahead of its debut later this fall. The project arrives as the franchise's live-action series continues, having returned for a second season earlier this year with a third already in development.

Set for September 29, the special is a two-part event that revisits the events of the live-action show's first two seasons. It is framed as being told from Usopp's perspective, a nod to the character's fondness for tall tales that the special leans into for comedy.

The live-action cast reprises their roles for the animated outing, including Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, and Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper.

The special is a collaboration between the LEGO Group and Shueisha, with animation handled by Atomic Cartoons and Tom Hyndman serving as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. It lands ahead of the live-action series' next chapter, The Battle of Alabasta, which is expected to follow.
