Tyler, born in Skewen, Wales, rose to international fame in the early 1980s. Her powerful, raspy vocals became a hallmark of her music, contributing to the dramatic flair of her most successful songs.

"Total Eclipse of the Heart," released in 1983, became a global phenomenon, topping charts worldwide and remaining a staple of power ballad playlists. The song's enduring popularity cemented Tyler's place in music history.
